Saigon Skateboards is an independent skateboarding and fingerboarding company based in Vietnam, created around a simple idea: make better products, treat customers properly, and never lose sight of why we started skating in the first place.

We are not a mass-production company, and we are not interested in making products simply because the market is already full of them.

We make boards because we care about how they feel, how they perform and how they are made.

OUR STORY

Saigon Skateboards grew from a lifelong connection with skateboarding and a genuine fascination with the craft behind making boards.

After decades around skateboarding, the transition into making fingerboards and skateboards was a natural one. What started as a passion developed into a serious independent business, with increasing attention given to materials, construction, shape, pressing, finishing and the small details that can make a board feel completely different.

Today, our work is based in Vietnam, where we design, manufacture, develop and ship our products to customers around the world.

Vietnam is our home and the place where our workshop operates. But Saigon Skateboards is not a Vietnamese company in the traditional sense. Our approach is shaped by our own international background, while being deeply influenced by the people, skills and manufacturing environment around us.

That combination is part of what makes Saigon Skateboards what it is.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY

The fingerboarding world does not need another company producing hundreds of anonymous boards.

It needs products that have been thought about.

We concentrate on construction, materials and performance. From carefully selected veneers and pressing techniques to shaping, sanding, finishing and graphics, we believe every stage matters.

Where possible, our boards are handmade and individually finished rather than simply pushed through a production line.

That means our products can have their own character.

It also means we can experiment.

Different woods. Different veneer combinations. Different shapes. Different concaves. Different finishes.

Some ideas work.

Some don't.

But experimentation is how better products are developed.

THE CRAFT

Our approach combines Italian attention to workmanship with English standards of customer service, while working within the manufacturing environment of Vietnam.

We believe those things should never be separated.

A quality product deserves quality service.

That means answering questions, helping customers choose the right equipment, being honest about products and specifications, and standing behind what we make.

We would rather have a smaller number of genuinely satisfied customers than thousands of customers who simply bought another generic product.

MORE THAN A BRAND

Saigon Skateboards is not built around the idea that bigger automatically means better.

The skateboarding and fingerboarding communities already contain incredible creativity, craftsmanship and talent. We want to contribute to that culture rather than simply sell into it.

We share knowledge, publish resources and discuss the realities of making and selling boards because we believe independent builders and skaters should have access to useful information.

We are particularly interested in the growth of skateboarding and fingerboarding throughout Asia.

There is enormous talent here.

There are skaters, builders, artists and creators producing interesting work, often without the recognition or infrastructure available in larger markets.

We believe that deserves attention.

LIMITED. INDEPENDENT. DIFFERENT.

Some of our products are produced in small quantities.

Others are experimental.

Some are completely one-of-a-kind.

We like that.

Mass production has its place, but there is something special about owning a board that somebody actually spent time making.

Our limited and custom work allows us to explore ideas that would never make sense in a conventional production environment.

That is where some of our most interesting boards come from.

OUR COMMUNITY

We believe skateboarding belongs to skaters.

Not corporations.

Not algorithms.

Not trends.

Not whoever happens to have the biggest following.

Our role is to make products that people enjoy using and collecting, while supporting the wider community through information, creativity and collaboration.

We don't claim ownership of the Vietnamese fingerboarding scene.

We are simply one company operating here — and we want to see the scene grow.

WHERE WE ARE GOING

Saigon Skateboards is still evolving.

We are continually developing new products, improving manufacturing methods, experimenting with materials and looking for better ways to serve our customers.

The goal is not simply to become the biggest fingerboard company.

The goal is to build something that lasts.

Something with character.

Something independent.

Something that people remember.
